《Vincent》最早問(wèn)世在1982年,片長(zhǎng)只有5分多鐘,是蒂姆·波頓在迪斯尼的早期作品,講的是一個(gè)叫Vincent的小男孩,幻想自己是一名著名的恐怖片演員,飾演將妻子活埋后不堪精神重負(fù)的兇手?,F(xiàn)實(shí)與幻想不斷交錯(cuò)形成戲劇張力,小男孩在自己幻想的愛(ài)倫.坡式結(jié)尾中“死去”。這個(gè)叫文森特的小男孩很孤獨(dú),他的腦子里充滿了各式各樣的古怪而新奇的念頭,但卻受到成人社會(huì)的壓抑,他陷入到深深的孤獨(dú)之中,活在冥想中那充滿鬼怪的世界里。這部短片可以說(shuō)奠定了蒂姆·波頓以后動(dòng)畫(huà)電影的基調(diào),包含了他標(biāo)志性的所有元素和歌特式的風(fēng)格。哥特式的電影場(chǎng)景,哥特式的狗,哥特式的孩子,戀尸癖,埋葬的新娘,所有的特征都表達(dá)的淋漓盡致。配音也呈現(xiàn)了蒂姆·波頓動(dòng)畫(huà)電影中人物特有的語(yǔ)言節(jié)奏。整個(gè)短片有著讓人一見(jiàn)難忘的黑色狂想氣氛。(為本片配音的正是著名恐怖片演員Vincent Price,而此片也正是蒂姆·伯頓向他致敬的作品,Vincent后來(lái)在《剪刀手愛(ài)德華》中飾演科學(xué)家一角)。
